"Far from us, in dreams and time, India belongs to the ancient orient of the soul." André Malraux
"India, dream of stone" is a book of photographs which evokes the mysterious
world of the most celebrated medieval Indian sites: Badami, Hampi, Mahabalipuram, Khajuraho, Varanasi, etc...

The photographer, in his quest for a deeper understanding of sacred life,
developed an interest for temples and sculptures as well as pilgrims and
saddhus who haunt these sacred places. He depicts a mosaic of portraits,
beings of stone and flesh connected by the common destiny of the
search for their soul.
